This is a quick update to my previous post
Thanks to all of you for your help. I read each and every one of your comments. You brought up many points that I didnât consider originally
I didnât consider that I could end up being made a patsy/scapegoat. I also didnât include the cost of business insurance. The amount for me to feel comfortable with doing this work was eyewatering. When saying the number outoud, I got even more worried that they might accept it
While it would be fun and quite profitable to take them to cleaners for consulting hours, because of the way I was treated, and because of your input we ultimately decided I would not do any consulting for my former employer
In true Reddit fashion there were two options but you didnât let that stop you, did ya? Some of you went all âBoaty McBoatfaceâ and suggested I âcontact the plaintiffsâ. Well I totally didnât expect that. My attorney thinks that is a crazy but very funny idea and will be reaching out to the plaintiffâs attorneys
Thank you Reddit. You are amazing.
