Post Body

So I'm now almost fully healed from having pink eye. Went to the ER on Monday and got some ointment for it. I got a Dr's note at the ER saying I need to rest for a few days until Thursday. I gave the daycare I worked at the note from the ER. Ok, thought I'd be cool and that I'd go back on Thursday. Then Tuesday afternoon I get a text from one of the ladies in charge at the daycare saying they no longer needed me. When I texted back to ask why I was being let go. She made up an excuse saying that they had low enrollment of kids at the daycare, and that they were also overstaffed. Both things are lies. A friend of mine, her daughter goes to that daycare in the ones class. So my friend saw a new teacher in the ones class, and I asked the other teacher I used to work with in the ones if that was true, about a new teacher. She said yes.

So now I'm in a situation where they lied to me about why they fired me. I want to know the real reason I was fired. It's not because I want my job back, I don't. I just want peace of mind so I know the actual reason I was fired.

Can they get in trouble for not telling me the real reason I was fired? I'm thinking probably not. That's whatever, but they're just so scummy getting away with that.
