Would you consider growing plants to be unethical?

Post Body

I'm a very strong believer in antinatalism and that halting reproduction immediately is the only sure way of completely eradicating suffering from this shitty existence. However, I also love to garden. I often buy plants that are pre-grown (sort of like adoption in a sense), but I was thinking about buying seeds and growing them from seeds but then I thought, by planting a seed I would be forcing another living thing in into existence and therefore would be contributing to the suffering of the world. But, then I wasn't sure if plants were conscious enough to be able to suffer and experience pain etc. So, what do you think? Would it be unethical to force a plant into existence from a seed? Or are they practically not able to suffer in the way that more intelligent life is able to? You decide
