Let us say for example, that someone lives a pretty decent life where they are happy more often than they are sad, such that if you were to weigh it all out, the balance of their life skewed much more in favor of good then bad.
Is it immoral to bring this life into existence?
I think I would lean towards it being immoral for 3 reasons: there is still suffering involved in that being's life, other beings will likely suffer as a result of this being and there still would be no way to obtain consent before creating such a life.
Points 1 and 3 most of us are familiar with, but allow me to expand a bit upon point 2. The pregnant person would definitely suffer to bring this new life into existence. But what if we had baby pods that did this all for us (like in The Pod Generation)? Perhaps no pregnant person would suffer, but that newborn would still need food, diapers, formula or milk, clothing, etc. Currently humans and some non-human animals labor for these things to be produced. These beings would suffer to some extent. Okay, so what if we automate that, too?
Even after all of these considerations are taken care of it is still highly likely, if not inevitable, that this being will harm someone in some way during their lifetime. Perhaps they would even irrevocably alter the life of someone they interact with. Personally, I could not agree to create even this relatively innocuous being.
Now, I may be able to say I could live such a life and consider it worthwhile at the end. It sounds much better than the life I have had so far. But I couldn't create such a life for someone else, and to alleviate the suffering of other beings caused by this creation, quite a lot would have to change about our current world.

You're right. It does. It's basically impossible to live your life without causing some harm somewhere isn't it? There's always some sort of butterfly effect somewhere. Of course, I have to do these things to live and my survival instinct won't let me just stop living. And if I did just stop living, the negative impact for my family would be horrific for them. So we keep on living, but that doesn't mean I'm going to keep continuing the cycle by creating new beings.
