Why do feminists put down other women who don’t fit their ‘ideals’?

I’ve seen this over a while, where if a woman doesn’t fit the ‘ideas and category’ then it’s less girls supporting girls more let’s be nasty to her. Take Nancy Reagan for example, doesn’t matter what you think of her but you gotta admit seeing these so called ‘feminists’ (some of my friends who claim to be radical feminists) buying into the false rumours just to shit on her and drag her through the mud. Like what happened to girls supporting girls
