I’ve been on Viibryd for about 8 weeks, at 40mg for the last 4. I’ve experienced some “activation,” as my NP calls it—been exercising more and thinking more about doing things to feel better. But mostly I’m just feeling way more emotion—a fair amount of anger, deep sadness, wanting to get out of the life I’m in and start another one (which, given my dependents, isn’t realistic).
Have others experienced this kind of intensification of your moods? If anything I wanted more emotional numbing, and to stop being obsessed with someone—and I guess the obsession is a little submerged in all the other moodiness—but I feel like I’m not moving the right way right now. My prescriber suggested I track my moods—in the few days since then, I’ve been level about half the time and down hard the other half.
