Hi, Iāve just learned about this sub as of today, and just came back from my first day of orientation at a marketing company called PinePoint Marketing. Iāve spent all weekend trying to do research on them and their legitimacy as a company since their website offers me next to nothing on what they do and who some of the many clients they claim to have are (since I truly am worried about accidentally joining a MLM), yet I canāt find anything good or bad about them. During my orientation, I couldnāt stop thinking about the way the director that was giving the presentation was making the job sound like that of a MLM. I would be petitioning and working for charities and non-profit orgs, even though my current position is that of an account executive. My knowledge of MLMs and how to suss them out is very slim. The company wants me to go from doing what I just mentioned to becoming a āproject directorā where I can open my own office and recruit my own people in a matter of 16 weeks. Is this normal or is this common for MLMs?
