I am a "small business owner" where I made some personal care products myself and resale some other local businesses' products by the ounce with the purpose of low-waste, local and sustainable lifestyle practices. AKA, a "refillery" lol
I live in a small community but very close to a bigger city with a lot of markets. Most of the markets in the bigger city have an "No MLM" rule, however, when there are markets in my area, no such rules.
I feel a little conflicted because I want to do markets where I live and help my community grow, however, the few markets that my area will do, always have MULTIPLE MLM's as vendors. I don't want my business (that I have been working very hard on and gotten licenses for and built on my own) to be more or less cheapened by even being at the same events as them.
But then I feel like I am a part of the problem by not trying to at least give people an option to not buy things from a pyramid scheme.
