My best friend recently invited me on a Zoom with her "friend" who is into alternative healing etc. THANKFULLY the girl sent a 10 minute intro video prior to the zoom which exposed she's shilling doTERRA oils. I backed out of the meeting immediately and told my friend I wasn't interested in doTERRA or any MLM.
My friend asked what I have against doTERRA as she has already bought a few bottles of oil. I explained all I hate about their predatory business practices etc etc...My friend pushed back saying the hun hasn't pressured her at all to buy or sell the oils. Friend explained that the hun even paid for the $35 wholesalers fee out of her own pocket.
I was hoping someone here would explain to me what this $35 wholesalers fee is a little better? From what I understand it's either a fee to buy the oils so you get them at a "discount" or its some sneeky hun language and the hun signed my friend up in her downline without her knowing. This has got me stumped and I would love to explain to my friend before she gets in deep. Thanks for any clarification you could pass my way.
