My father works for a church in the deep south. One of his coworkers, let's call him Zach, is married to a DoTerra rep. Let's call her Gina.
Gina goes on and on on Facebook about how she keeps her family healthy with oils and how she doesn't have to medicate her kids since she uses oils. She even claims avoiding the ER and doctor by using the oils. In one of the more sickening posts (IMO) is a video of her child applying EO to her brother's face and saying how "good good good" they are for your body. It's her 5 year old sales pitching. It's terrifying.
Her husband, Zach, coaches his kids' soccer team in his spare time. He would always pawn off work on other people at the end of the day to get to his kids' game. But like any normal person, no one thought anyone of it. A good Christian man wanted to be with his family.
But then, Zach started taking lots of sick days. He didn't have any chronic illness and he would show up the next day just fine. Sometimes he would show up at 9am, only to leave from 11-3, an be back for the last two hours of the day. Whenever there was a soccer game the day he'd call out, he'd still be at the field. It was odd, but no one confronted him about it. He probably had doctors appointments or something.
Strange, since Gina has the cureall in her handbag, right?
Turns out, Zach was having an affair. He ended up ruining the marriage, his job, and his life in that town. He moved back in with his parents.
The kids no longer play soccer and I have no idea how a DoTerra paycheck is paying the bills. I know she still reps, but nothing more than that.
