So a FB friend whos a hairdresser was getting a new skill cert for a diffrent hair bead extensions skill. I asked about seeing some from the front with someone who may have a thinning front hairline. Its a problem and I'm pretty open minded - i take my vitimims, and i try things that people have proven results with.
Anyway - i commented a few days ago. This morning I got a message from someone saying she was a mutual friend as follows:
Hi there! We have a mutual friend, [hairdresser]. I never, ever reach out to people I don’t know so please know I am only going to share something with you and not bug you haha. I was going to comment about the extensions as the brand she is talking about are gorgeous!!! Then I saw your comment about your thinning hair line. I had some thinning at my temples that I was able to regrow. I have a photo I can show you as well. (My hair has never been the same since having my children.) I use Monat. Have you heard of it? I don’t want to go on and on and I don’t want to sound salesy so I will let you tell me if you want me to share more. I will attach my photo so you can see. Approx 30 days of use
And a picture is attached.
Now heres my catch is I do know a few girls who do MlM - they don't push on me or my friends so I let them do their things. So first response was to hear her out then i noticed it was one of the MLM's being ranted about in mass.
I wasn't sure if I should just ignore the message or reach out to our mutual friend to at least let her know this person contacted me about potentially selling me stuff.
I know its me being naive but I've seen enough hun messages on here where they play the whole "I don't do this normally" line.
Thoughts?
