Stock market
Post Body

So with the update today I checked out the stock market and I love it so far! That being said, there are two aspects of it that I don't quite seem to understand yet.

So first, if I buy a share of another company, my income rises/decreases depending on whether the company's value is rising or stagnating, right? So the insider job that lets the company's stock stagnate is used to lower the starting bid for the share thus I can get a share more easily – however, after I used it, my balance significantly dropped, so is it intended to then use the positive insider job that raises the stock value again?

Secondly: Is it the goal to own all shares of all the other companies or can you financially ruin them as well? Takeover or destruction?

Please bear with me, I lack fundamental understanding of economy, stocks etc.! Thanks!

EDIT: After playing around since monday, two questions: What happens if one of the AI starts an auction on one of my own shares that I already own and I outbid them? Do I lose money? The share is already mine, so I'm not sure how that works.

Secondly: If I own all my own shares, will the AI still be able to start auctions on them?
