I have been playing Anno 1800 for awhile, so I sat down at the start of the holidays and made a new playthrough. Got settled into Crown Falls, upgraded to Engineers and the FIRST quest I got from them gave me Bruno. Needless to say I went to the menu and saved.

I have never gotten him in previous playthroughs because I am pretty casual and haven't even completed the full skyscraper monument. Also I never really get to a point where researching items was practical. But I have been one to find the combos to increase visitors and access special pools.

I have seen in a lot of articles about how powerful he is in a trade union but I did not understand how powerful he was. And at this early in the game.

I get close to 4 million per cargo ship to the NPC trader, do not need to build any of the engine or advanced weapon lines(whats the word obviate?), drastically cuts down on my iron usage, and saves the environment.

I just laughed as I traded millions for advanced weapons and Santa flew across the sky because of the holidays.

Now I am spoiled. Can't imagine a play through without him.
