G'day all

I'm a long time Banished player and really wanted something more 'advanced' in graphics to play but the same type of play style, I was suggested anno1800 and so i went and got a copy.

Only thing is....the war/intense trading/politics/ inhabiting other islands thing, really gets my stress levels and anxiety up. Is there any way to disable those options and play simply like banished? or is there another game I should try? Feel like i just spent $80 bucks on a whole lot of stress. I loke the whole upgrade, progress of graphics style with anno1800

I've tried Dawn of Man (not 100% on that), Jurassic World, Hotel Magnate (very limited) City Skylines (too much) and Planet Coaster (not my thing), The Last Starship (limited) plus Civilisation IV

I am coming from a 15yr veteran vanilla WOW player and a recent Diablo4 (bored now of the grind). I want a simple, but easy builder game with some complexity but I enjoy making progress through the years without the stress of losing to war etc.
