Now I'm nervous about the MRI
Post Body

How do you folks talk yourself out of feeling this way? I have an MRI this week to confirm or deny SpA. HLA-B27 positive, eye involvement, back and SI Joint pain. My xrays weren't exciting, just some OA apparently. I have an MRI scheduled, but I'm nervous because the last week or so I've felt...mostly fine? My eye is flaring up, but my joints have been decent, if not perfect. So I'm nervous I'll get there and everything will be fine and YO, MRIs are EXPENSIVE.

I know that probably shouldn't be first on my mind, but healthcare in this country is so expensive, that the idea of paying that much for an MRI only to not be able to tell what's really going on is so stressful. I almost don't want to even do it, particularly since I am starting to wonder if I'm imagining things.

Does anyone else get this way, and what helped?
