Mri guidance?
Post Body

Hi everyone been lurking here for a while as I have suspected AS. My grandfather had very bad undiagnosed arthritis that affected all of his joints, and my father has psoriatic arthritis. Before I suspected this my doctor wanted to get an mri of my hip done because the mri of my lumbar was normal. I’m starting to think I will need a pelvic mri to show this disease. Is that correct? Or will a hip mri show inflammation in the si area as well? I also am suspecting a slight cauda equina from this and hope that the mri will show that area. The lumbar mri I took earlier this year DID NOT image far enough down and I’ve been fighting to get another for awhile now. Thank you!
