I upgraded from the Liberty Airs to the 2's earlier this year because the first gen didn't have a great mic. I read all the specs and saw the reviews, this mic seemed to be better than the first.

At first the mic did sound better, I made test calls and it wasn't crystal clear (like Anker claims) but it was decent. Well now the last few calls I've made the person on the other end says it sounds like I'm mumbling or talking through a pillow, even when I'm speaking directly into the mic. Any advice?

I like the price range under $80 so if you have suggestions of other earbuds in that price range with a definitively better mic, please lmk!
