I love anime for many many reasons but one thing that constantly annoys me is the fan service trope. I just don't understand why they constantly feel the need to show nearly nude characters. I'm an adult, watching a show that is rated MA and has a warning at the beginning of every episode saying that its for adults only but all they ever show is outlines and covered bodies. I'm not a child and I'm not an idiot. It's just recently been feeling more and more cringey to just keep this trope alive. Either actually show the characters nude or just stop already. It's the most annoying when it literally gets shoehorned into serious moments in the show's just because "lol anime titties". Nearly every single anime I have ever seen has this dumb trope and after a lifetime of watching anime it's finally just gotten to be a deal breaker with shows which really sucks because 99% of them have it.
