It’s a bit frustrating. Shout out to Gen Z but damn. It would’ve been nice to be able to wear anime merch to school and not worry about being laughed at. Or having ppl make fun of me for liking Asian guys. And BL is mainstream now?? Like??? I felt like I had to stop watching anime bc I needed to “grow up.” Now my mom watches anime...she literally used to tease me and make fun of anime all of the time???

Lmaooo. As a gen s person I can confirm that a wear anime shit all the time. Mostly it’s cuz normies think Japanese lettering is retro, they don’t know what it means but think it’s cool
