Why can’t I feel the emotion in Japanese?

Post Body

Okay so I’m a die hard sub watcher and can’t seem to get used to the dubbed voices no matter what. But in the proper emotion driven scenes where I feel I would usually at least shed a tear, I can’t seem to feel the same emotions when listening in Japanese as I could to watching a regular english tv show.

Basically I was just wondering if anyone else watches dry eyed or if everyone else manages to ball their eyes out when watching one of their fave characters die?
