I'm glad I decided to watch this next. It was a very enjoyable show, and while I'm torn between the two, I think Golden Time slightly edges out Toradora for me.

Personally, I find Ryuuji to be a better main character than Banri, but I like Kouko much more than Taiga. Personally, I find Taiga's personality, which is fitting to her name, to be a bit too much. As much as I think I'm a patient person, I don't think I can put up with her the way Ryuuji did, especially as a friend.

My favorite female character was a tossup between Ami and Minori, but towards the end, Ami's straightforwardness just wins it for me. None of the characters are boring or one dimensional, but Ami is just very sharp, and ends up being the one who stays true to herself even with her feelings, without making the most drama out of it. I really do find her the most mature out of the entire cast.

Minori first came off as this happy go lucky and cheerful girl, who wears that as a mask. However, I dislike her personality towards the end of the show. I find that she is being hypocritical with Taiga on

I mean, it's obvious who Ryuuji was gonna end up with just from the title alone, and the first scene of the show, but it is not a pairing that I wish would've happened.

It was an anime I enjoy, but I'm personally giving it a 7/10. I'd say it's a high 7 though, but just not quite an 8 for me.

Sidenote: I loved all OP and ED of this show. My favorite is definitely Vanilla Salt by Yui Horie!

Onwards to the next romance show! Thinking of either Love, Chuunibyou, & Other Delusions, Saekano, Working!!, Honey & Clover, or Asterisk Wars.

Or maybe I might change up a bit and do a different genre next. Been watching too many romance lately. I mean, I have to start Spice & Wolf, Steins;Gate, or Eccentric Family sooner or later right?
