What's wrong with Light Novel adaptations?
Post Body

I often see quite a lot of hate on the amount of Light Novel adaptations in recent times, without really a lot of backup as to why this is a problem.

Some of the greatest/most famous series are adapted from Light Novels (Monogatari, Haruhi, no Game no Life, Fate/Zero, Durarara), and I don't see a big difference between shows adapted from Light Novels and shows adapted from Manga. And I don't see why the source material is a problem for Anime watchers, as long as the show is good.

Why are the Light Novel adaptations getting so much complaints in the community?
