Does world trigger really have that bad of a reputation?

Just as the title says, I'm confused. It's a really great show, sure the pacing is slow but the music is great, and so is the story. There's a decent host of characters, and plenty of non dialogue diluted combat. I'm not seeing the "animation is bad" part at all because I've seen horrid.
