I know this isn't the first anime that does it.. im currently watching "A nobody's way up to an exploration hero". I just hate the push of a relationship for the childhood friend when they arent really in the story as much. [Spoiler about character] Where the mc goes into a dungeon which he doesn't tell and hides from his childhood friend because she doesn't like the dungeon, because her dad never came back from it while younger.. she rarely interacts with him and he develops female friends who like him and spend much more time with him and also like doing the same things as exploring the dungeon...

It's also like infinite Stratos, the childhood friend is garbage and doesn't have much relationship with each other. I know there are plenty of animes like this, but I just get bothered when they are like this.
