So most people first anime is between mostly Dragon Ball, Naruto, Pokemon, One Piece, Bleach and to some Death Note, Code Geass or other popular shows back then and to more recent anime fans Demon slayer JJk etc
But how about the first show you watch that isn't really that popular to these shows extent?
I had mainly only watched DBZ and maybe a couple other Toonami shows back in the late 90s/early 2000s, but the first lesser known one was either Ninja Scroll or Serial Experiments Lain, can’t remember which was first. I think with Ninja Scroll I had heard about it and bought the dvd, but with Lain I saw it airing on…I want to say the cable channel TechTV. They had an anime unleashed program way back
