Where did you study for animation?

I’m looking for places to study animation. I want to focus in 2d character animation. I searched through many places but I want to hear the experiences from alumni.
I’m planning to go to Drexel university for animation but I need backup schools just in case I don’t get accepted.
I live in PA so any near there will be even better.
