found a crab while walking to 7 eleven. I do not live near the sea or any kind of wildlife areas. Unfortunately deceased but he doesn't look like any species of crab that should be in California in the first place. It didn't look like he was cooked or like someone had intended to eat him. I dont know anything about crabs but he doesn't look like the type of crabs people eat

Closest I could figure out is some kind of land crab?
