This is very unusual - Most people smoke and they have no problems. In fact, it makes them feel better.
This all started 2 years ago when I started smoking for the first time at 27 years old. I always felt odd smoking but I thought I'd get used with it.
Took a break from it. I didn't feel necessarily better but once I'd try a new cigarette again (I would do that every few months for a few days) I would immediately feel bad and anhedonic. I would feel incredibly tired too - and I'd lose all my interest - I wouldn't even want to sit at the computer.
I've always returned to cigarettes because I thought "Nah, this is in your head" - Even my doctors told me it's not possible. And yet, I smoked again a few days ago (after having some good weeks) and now I'm completely anhedonic - bored - don't know what to do with my day.
Anyway, anyone else with this shit? I wonder why exactly - what happens neurochemically?
