My sister and I run a handmade soap and body products business, and we are looking for investors. We are in the very early stages only 5 months in business. So far we have more debt then profit from buying all the supplies, renting our booth at the flea market, and paying for ads. We have only been able to sell 2 days a week due to the limitations of days the flea market is open.
Our objectives for the investment are as follows: 1. Pay off the debt. 2. Get a location where we can sell 7 days a week. 3. Order more supplies. 4. Cover time and labor for both of us till we can get off the ground running, so we don't have to work jobs on top of our business.
Numbers for our main products: 1. Soap Bar cost:$1.40 sells for:$7 2. Lotion cost:$2.20 sells for $9 3. Body butters / sugar scrubs Cost $2 sells for $8
We have other products like candles, wax melts, bath soak, shower steamers, and shampoo bars. I just haven't got the math down for costs yet. And they sell far less then the other products. I am willing to chat with anyone about contracts or potential deals in exchange for an investment.
