Died at XL 27 to the king of Uruk-hais.

Some questions:

• There is no character forming, right? As in investing points into skill i mean, as in DCSS for example or Sil.
• Farmer Maggot: can i talk to him or is there a way to deal with his story other then just killing him and his dogs?
• So many different items (rings/scrolls/potions) found it hard to manage the inventory all the time... any tips apart from "learning whats important and what's not" ?
• Would really like to get shift direction working for running, like in the SDL client but for the terminal. Somebody knows a simple way to get this done?
• Somehow the game told me that the most damaging weapons for me were things like main-gauches and alikes. Considering i was a warrior i wondered why they are so much effective as say big axes.
