Some android job descriptions I see list "providing HAL interface to Application" as a plus. I spent all day today trying to get a starting point for learning how to do this but I just went around in circles all day. There doesn't seem to be a concise codelab, video or article about how to accomplish this from what I've googled. I would like to just make a simple app that checks if the user is connected to the internet, using a HAL interface, just to get get a feel for it.
So, does anyone have any resources at all on this subject? Any github links, articles or videos related to the subject are super appreciated
