I have some distorted videos that are in the wrong aspect ratio. They are not standard dimensions like 1280x720 etc, but are all variable dimensions. They were cropped from various movies. I specifically want to keep the height but change the width.
Many video editing tools claim to change the aspect ratio. I've tried at least 6 (AndroVid, InShot, filmorago, kinemaster etc). But they all do the same 'wrong' thing, which is to take the vid and insert black or blurry borders to make it the right size. This does nothing to actually change the aspect ratio of the warped video content itself, which is now still wrong, but wrong inside a larger window. This is quite useless for this repair job.
I'd love to hear some thoughts and possible solutions or apps for this task.
