App that turns your phone into contactless credit card reader?

For small merchants like myself, surely there should/could/(is?) an app that turns my Android device into a contactless card reader so that I (or even my customers) could load up a transaction and pay for something? Most modern smart devices have NFC built in so I don’t really see an issue...or am I missing something here?
