Avast Mobile Security Anybody use virus protection security apps like Avast Mobile Ultimate?

After running out of my subscription with AVG antivirus Im currently on the first few days of doing a trial run with Avast Mobile while they offer me a week trial. So far so good basically the same as as my previous security application that includes all the basic toosl plus a VPN access which you need to pay extra for.
So do you guys use these mobile security apps like bitfinder and the ones mentioned above ? Or do you guys and gals think it's unnecessary?
