What was this last Western Roman Law issued by Glycerius on church offices?
Post Body

So I recently heard that it was Glycerius, the old palace guard turned emperor made by Gundobad, that issued the last law as an emperor.

The law was regarding simony and I learned it from a tertiary source which referenced this 2021 publication by Brill. https://brill.com/edcollbook/title/59683

Something about the sale of church offices, simony.

What was that about?

They also mention about how the clergy used church money for personal reasons and that church elections got really violent.
