Everybody (including myself) is confused about how the ancient egyptians were able to work with the granite when making the statues, pottery, and other items since they only had soft metal tools to work with. But seeing as how they are in Africa, which is loaded with diamond deposits, it's not that hard to imagine they would use those diamonds as masonry tools. Since diamonds aren't as rare as people believe they are, there is a chance that they didn't revere them as precious gemstones, but as abundant, high end masonry tool bits. Does anyone have any evidence that possibly proves or even disproves this theory?
