Sample size for weighted sample?

Post Body

I'm working on a project where we want to do a weighted sample of contracts. Each contract will be weighted according to its dollar-value.

Our goal is to collect some data from each contract and estimate a total number for the entire population. Its a dollar value, not a proportion.

I'm struggling to find any resources regarding sample size or confidence intervals for weighted samples. Does anyone know how to handle this, or could recommend a resource?
