Alternatives to XM1B VACUBLITZ?

I recently bought some XM1B flashbulbs (~6€ for 9 of them in the original pack) for a project, but I have second thoughts about using such a antique for a silly shitpost basically >~<
Are there any modern bulbs still produced that would work on the burning magnesium/zirconium metal in a oxygen atmosphere principle? I cannot use a modern xenon flash or LEDs for technical reasons I don't want to get into.
