I've been following the series closely since volume 2 was out and now volume 5 is gonna release soon. After the allegations, I haven't seen as many people hyped.

In my opinion, volume 4 was kinda wack.

The theatrical scenes were terrible. Not only did they not belong with the analog horror style but they looked like a crappy film student's project. The clouds in various scenes like the transition shots were moving insanely fast and looked bad. Gabriel's scary TTS voice was changed to that of a cartoonish villain. The police captain was some 18 year old looking dude with dyed hair and piercings which was really odd. There were these corny monologues in the middle of everything.

The only good parts had to do with Adam/Sarah/Jonah/Eve as well as the random creepy things like Face Studio 2. The best scene was the Alternate giving his monologue to Adam through the computer about who he really is. That was horrifying and cool. Other than that, not very good.

So I hope volume 5 is way better. Though the teasers look like they use some AI claymation/art. I could be wrong about it being AI. I hope I am. But it really does look like an AI animation.

I think since 1 and 3 took place in the 90s, 5 will as well and there will be some new crucial things introduced which will later come in during volume 6. Volume 6 will take place in the 2010s and be the ending - the final conclusion. I'm looking forward to seeing how the series ends.

I thought the first 3 were good. It peaked at 2. The dynamic Adam and Jonah had has so far been unmatched. They felt like real people and it followed them specifically with creepy things happening in the background rather than a bunch of random recordings and footage.
