How often a new leg.
Post Body

Just coming up on first anniversary of my LBKA and currently on second prosthesis. First one was on December 2023 and was similar pin connection. Second leg in May 2024 and this is a hybrid vacuum and pin system.

Recently I have been experiencing a lot of poisoning and movement of my residual limb in the socket. It is enough that it is concerning when walking.

Does this sounds like I might need a new prosthesis already?

I am seeing the surgeon next week for a normal follow-up and am waiting on a call back from my prosthetics guy.

UPDATE 1: My prosthetics guy said can you use a sock in between the limb and the liner to help bulk it up. I can't get it in to see him for a couple of weeks though so hopefully this will work. Also I double checked I have a hybrid lock with vacuum
