Am I wrong for not sulking when my bf breaks up with me?

I am great at being a girlfriend but I'm also great at being single. Which ever situation I'm in I make the best of. If someone doesn't understand or respect that and breaks up with me for things I do when Im single, am I wrong to think this person is just insecure and a bit controlling or should I continuing to act loyal after he leaves me & breaks my heart 💔
