Am I wrong for ghosting my friends until they show they actually care?

Friendship is supposed to be a give and take; so why do I feel like I'm the only one who ever gives. My friends are all talk and no walk. They can't even dignify me with a text when they flake on plans. I've decided that I don't care anymore. If they actually value me and not just what I do for them; they have until the end of the month to show me. Otherwise they're all blocked
