I track my cycles using BBT, CM and cervical position and am fairly certain I ovulated on CD15. I (stupidly) had unprotected sex on the night of CD16. Due to a miscommunication, my partner ejaculated inside me. I did not take a Plan B as I cannot tolerate hormones (hence using FAM). My cycles are typically short (24-25 days) but I’m still learning whether I have a short follicular phase or short luteal phase (or both). So my period is due in five days but it could be off by a few days. I will post an update as soon as that day comes.

My one saving grace is that I later discovered I had the start of a yeast infection during the encounter. So hopefully the acidity deterred most of the sperm.

Anyone here have experience with unprotected sex one day after ovulation?

Update 1: took a pregnancy test and it was negative (CD25, 10DPO)

Update 2: period started this morning (what would’ve been CD27, 12DPO)

Don’t be a fool like me and have risky sex! Not worth the stress!
