Is anyone else thinking of giving up on collecting all the Amiibo?

One of my friends recently started collecting Amiibo and he asked to buy the 12 figures i have for 200. I'm not that interested in the money aspect so much as I know that getting the unicorns i missed out on and the future Amiibo will cost a lot and consume a lot of time. Is anyone else getting discouraged with all this craziness?
