Flying from Toronto to Kathmandu via a LOT of connections. Before anyone asks, i had a lot of previous airline credits that I decided i would use for this trip. Here’s what it was supposed to go like:

Westjet - Depart Toronto 4pm - Arrive Calgary 6:10pm Westjet - Depart Calgary 8:45pm - Arrive London 12:15pm ( 1 day) Qatar - Depart London 9:20pm

As I type this, my first Westjet flight from Toronto to Calgary has now been delayed by 2 hours most likely causing me miss the Calgary-London flight. This ofcourse impacts my Qatar airways flight too as there are no other Westjet flights today leaving from Calgary to London.

What are my options compensation wise? I purchased my flights through amex but might have used some points as well to make the purchase. Any ideas folks?

Edit: pleased to announce I just landed in Calgary and the next flight is delayed as well by enough time that I am confident I will make it to my final destination if everything else goes smoothly. Thanks for all your help! 🫡
