Question - has anyone gotten the Business Platinum with a first year free promo? I called the sales rep originally because I was interested in getting information (after which he kept pushing his referral link and calling every two weeks which got annoying) but no FYF or other enticing promo aside from what was on the website.

I travel quite a bit (sometimes 3-4 international trips per month, and if not - driving around 5,000 kms over the month instead). The insurance on rentals / lounge access is probably one of the top things I'm looking out for, as well as the points system which I could convert to Air Canada Aeroplan status miles (funny enough I wanted to get Aeroplan AMEX originally but the sales agent said that it's more worthwhile to just get the business platinum and do the conversion).
