Hi all,
I just received a text regarding my card being used in a foreign country. I checked my app, saw charges, and called the number on the back of my card.
Fraud is quite common now so I wasn’t too surprised, but the associate mentioned that my card was swiped (non-online) to make the purchases. ANEX took care of me, but I’m curious…
How can someone swipe my card if the card is with me and I live thousands of miles from the place it was used?
