I’m livid so definitely want to check and see if my judgement is clouded. I don’t want to do anything fraudulent.
I sent laundry out to be washed and folded (NYC living with no washer/dryer in apt or building) and requested same day return. I was told to please send it out the next day (12/22) since they were slammed. No problem.
Sent the pickup request the next day and they were late by about an hour picking up. I texted a reminder and they came right away. I asked at that time if same day return was still ok and they said yes.
I didn’t have my clothing by the time I got home from work at 8pm (24/7 laundry service) and the rest is in the texts below.
What is not shown is the probably 20 ignored calls I placed trying to get my dirty clothes back so I could have something to wear for the holidays after he said they would bring them.
I’m back and they would not deliver unless I paid. The clothes were delivered washed and folded. He gave me 10% off and was of course incredibly defensive through the entire process. I asked if he would think this is acceptable as a customer and he hung up on me.
Would this qualify for a chargeback or am I being vindictive?
