So I've been playing ETS/ATS more and more over the past 5 years. It's become extremely relaxing and a great release. Last year I got the G29 wheel and pedals but have not bothered to get a shifter. I'm ready to start investing in a shifter setup and I'm not quite sure how it all works. I'm currently thinking that I should get the Logitech shifter that is compatible with the G29 and then later get a replacement shifter component that more represents what would be found in a truck, like an Eaton shifter. Is this a viable option, or is there a better solution that would also work with my current setup? I prefer to keep it under $300. Thanks for any advice!
