Requesting A Different Contractor

Just curious if anyone has ever dealt with requesting a different contractor? For context, my dishwasher stopped working (can’t get pasted blinking lights), so I submitted a request and the contractor AHS assigned has primarily 1 star reviews and the contractor can only come at times when I am not available. Any suggestions?
